Time is Precious – Life is Precious

Time is undefeated. How you spend it is critical and directly related to the LOVE you get. Give LOVE, get LOVE. Get LOVE, give LOVE.

It is so hard to understand how much time any of us gets in life. Some of us live well into our 90’s or even into our 100’s. Others burn out their light much faster.

I have always felt that a short life was a harder loss to take, but the truth is loss is loss. It is certainly tragic when a young life is taken from us. It means less memories and less time.

On the other side of the coin, a life lived into “old age” might even mean that others have left this world well before that person. Essentially they may be living their later years without the love of their life or their dear friends. That’s also really sad.

The truth is we never really know how much time we have. When we are young we live carefree and carelessly because we don’t have a full picture of how much time we have been gifted. It might even be the reason why we take more risks in our youth.

As we age we start to appreciate time more. We recognize the fleeting moments. Birthdays, anniversaries, and other milestones don’t escape our awareness and our appreciation. We start to see the bigger picture of wasted time, of precious time, and the idea that valuing time is critical to living more fully with more of a grateful spirit.

One thing is certain, time is the only currency that we need to spend wisely and be sure to invest it in the people we love and the people who love us.

Time is precious. Life is precious.
